I grew up in church and I was about 14 years old when I began to seek the Lord and at the age of 18 I gave my heart and life to JESUS. It's been quite a journey and I know that GOD IS GOOD and faithful and I think HIM for saving me and HIS mercys are new every day

It has been in my heart for the past year to start, and now being recently married and living in a new state, I desire to have people over and host, in hopes of community. This video was so helpful in regards to what it really means to host and how good it can be for me in molding my heart and focusing more on Jesus. Would you be able to share how you actually prepare to host the evening of and meals so I can get started? I usually get overwhelmed and rarely host because cooking and meals is my least favorite (exhausting) and most intimidating part for me...

Hi sis, we come to the same conclusion actually. I'am seeking for a new job and though I brought 2.5 years of work in my curriculum and my former project manager is ready to give a very good report of me. I've not made it yet to get one. In this is my conclusion: no mather what I may do in order to get a new job, just as it was for my previous one, it will come straight from HEAVEN, from the Hands of ABBA SHOMAYIM (HE: HEAVENLY FATHER), IF it is still HIS Will for me to be on the workplace. Stay blessed.

The first scripture that came to mind when listening to this was Hebrews 12:6. “God chastises those he loves”, thank you God for your loving corrections.

Writing this so I can come back and testify that God performed a miracle in my life. I’ve never felt God has answered any of my prayers and things are currently desperate so trying to trust God and patiently wait.

Kaci, I really enjoyed this video and it is something that I have been contemplating. My husband recently passed away and I have been thinking about how to bring more people into my life and how to participate more in the activities at my church. I have been out of the loop for several years because of my husband's health and care, but it has been pressing on my heart to get more involved with people and begin to cultivate new friendships and activities. I feel like for me the first step is simply extending the invitation. A year ago we moved 2.5-3 hours away from my family, and are now living 40 minutes away from our church, so I just have something stopping me from inviting people over because I don’t think they would want to travel that far to visit. I love hosting, but just can’t get past not wanting to put people out by “making” them drive so far to see us

This has been so timely as it’s massively on my heart at the moment and definitely an area I want to grow in. I keep holding back because my “house isn’t the best/biggest/nicest” but that is just not what it’s about. When I was in my early twenties I went to a much smaller church, and there was a guy there who loved to cook. Almost every Sunday he’d just gather a bunch of people from church (single, married, young, old, with kids, without) and invite them round for lunch. He’d just open his home, cook for people, and we’d hang out together playing games. I’ve always remembered how special those times were during that season of my life, and have forever wanted to replicate that in my current season. I think that’s part of what’s been holding me back though, maybe aiming too high while I’m in a season of life with young children, but my eyes have been opened this week in particular to different ways we can live out biblical hospitality. For me closed doors is one of the ways God I can tell God is speaking to me. It definitely isn't always easy to accept, but later on when I i reflect on it I can clearly see God's hand. Great Video Kaci❤
